By creating an account, posting a job, applying for a job, or otherwise using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

1. Definitions

  • “Candidate” – An individual who registers on the Platform to search for and apply to job opportunities.

  • “Employer” – A company, organization, or individual who registers on the Platform to post job opportunities and recruit candidates.

  • “User” – Any person or entity using the Platform, including Candidates and Employers.

  • “Content” – All text, images, videos, job postings, resumes, and other materials posted or transmitted on the Platform.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Platform.

  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law.

  • Employers must be legally registered entities or authorized representatives of such entities.

3. Account Registration

  • Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

  • Each account is for personal or company use only and cannot be transferred to another party without our consent.

4. Services Provided

Our Platform enables:

  1. Candidates – to create profiles, upload CVs, apply to jobs, and receive career-related updates.

  2. Employers – to post jobs, view candidate profiles, and manage recruitment processes.

We may also offer value-added features such as profile recommendations, skill assessments, and recruitment analytics.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws.

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or resumes.

  • Engage in spam, phishing, or unsolicited communications.

  • Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code.

  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.

6. Employer Obligations

  • Employers must ensure all job postings comply with labor laws in Nigeria and any other applicable jurisdiction.

  • Employers must not charge candidates any fee for job applications through the Platform.

  • Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their job postings.

7. Candidate Obligations

  • Candidates must provide truthful and accurate information in their profiles and job applications.

  • Candidates must not apply for jobs under false identities or credentials.

  • Candidates are responsible for ensuring they meet the requirements of a job before applying.

8. Fees and Payments

Currently, INTENVOLT does not process direct payments for job postings or applications unless otherwise stated. If fees are introduced in the future, Users will be notified, and updated terms will apply.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content, design, and functionality on the Platform are owned by INTENVOLT or its licensors.

  • Users retain ownership of the content they upload but grant INTENVOLT a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute such content for the purposes of operating the Platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • INTENVOLT is not responsible for the accuracy of job postings, candidate profiles, or the outcome of recruitment processes.

  • We do not guarantee employment for candidates or successful hires for employers.

  • We are not liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from your use of the Platform.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms

  • Provide false or misleading information

  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

  • Any dispute shall first be resolved amicably. If unresolved, it shall be referred to arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
