Description

A reputable IT company based in Ilupeju, Lagos, is seeking to hire a detail-oriented and reliable Entry-Level Accountant to support its finance and accounting operations.
The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting entries.
Record and reconcile daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support tax filing, audit preparation, and compliance with financial regulations.
Monitor cash flow, identify discrepancies, and support process improvements.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
0–2 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role (NYSC experience counts).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, email communication, and basic accounting software.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong organizational skills.
